HR Event – Challenging the commercials in HR
On October 9th Trudy Peeler, Head of Transport and Infrastructure at Impact Executives, hosted a Breakfast Seminar for a select group of HR professionals to discuss how HR Professionals demonstrate true commercial impact.
Sue Swanborough, HR Director for the UK, Ireland and the Nordics for General Mills led a lively and thought provoking discussion. The debate about how HR adds value is not new but we asked how far this debate has really moved forward? Being able to measure success that was clearly aligned to the delivery of the corporate strategic objectives, being business leaders first and understanding the organisations expectations of HR were highlighted as essential in demonstrating the Commercial Impact of HR.
We do run a variety of breakfast sessions throughout the year so if you would if you’d like to join us for future similar sessions or there are particular topics you believe would make for interesting discussion please contact one of our team.
