Client synopsis/brief:

Our client is looking for a Project Manager for a global enterprise level project based on open-platform (Flex, J2EE, MySQL). You will be based in our operations department in Denmark with a development team in Eastern Europe. It is vital that you have a combination of 50% software development experience and 50% experience of transition and change.

Min 6-18 months - Start date ASAP

Experience of the following is critical:

Strong software development as a service background a must.
Proven international experience releasing software products to market successfully is critical
Senior level experience with one or more of the technologies outlined above
Experience with launching Internet Software/Services a plus
Strong organizational / project management skills
Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones
Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
Ability to understand technical subjects and emerging technologies and relevance to the marketplace
Ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical people - stakeholder management is critical
Must be able to communicate to senior executives internally and externally
Effective use of reading, writing, oral communications skills, presentation techniques and meeting mechanics

Your Role:

Manage the development team in Eastern Europe through a local Dev Team project manager.
Maintain project plans, budgets and all other documentation related to this effort.
Lead team through Software Development Life Cycle (application development) including business requirements, design, development, implementation, etc.
Day to day project management (scheduling, software development management, etc.)
