Our client is a world leading, global distribution organisation who are looking for a programme director to lead the outsource of their IT Infrastructure. The programme is a large scale, multi million pound programme to consolidate and standardise the IT infrastructure across Europe.

The programme has already begun and the pilot delivered successfully. The programme director will be responsible for leading the roll out into the remaining subsidiaries across Europe.

The programme is expected to last at least 12 months and will require a strong leader capable of managing complex stakeholder landscapes and multiple suppliers through influence. The programme director will also be responsible for implementing structured process and best practice for delivery.

In order to be considered for the position applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience of:

• Successful delivery of at least one IT infrastructure outsource programme including datacentres, service centres, LAN, WAN, voice and desktops
• Pan-European delivery to more than 10 European countries
• Good technical competence in IT infrastructure
• High level contractual and supplier management within a multi vendor environment
• Implementing ITIL
• setting up PMO
