The last two years have seen a significant step change in the management and disposal of hazardous waste as a result of changes to the law.
The Environment Agency's priority has been to ensure the safe management of hazardous waste during this period of change.
Our Client
Our Client works in the area of treatment of hazardous waste to ensure that it no longer presents a problem to landfill sites.
The Role
An experienced Interim Technical Director is required by our Client to document all processes and procedures both in the lab and also on site.
The Person
With a Scientific Degree preferably in Chemistry, you will have strong technical experience in both technical analysis and the management of a laboratory, with a full understanding of the chemical compounds necessary to treat hazardous waste. A strong team player and manager, you will have a highly organised approach to both problems solving and people management.
You will enjoy mapping the processes and documenting them into a blueprint for future use. With good influencing skills and excellent stakeholder-management, you will have a strong results focus.
