Our client is a global enterprise software company selling across a number of vertical markets.
They have invested heavily in building and strengthening their International presence and are now seeking a strong Interim Sales Director to drive the UK sales force to the next level. They are a leader in their market space-as cited by Gartner. Their portfolio is stable, dynamic and innovative and they have an impressive and substantial install base. Currently all revenues are almost all from direct sales activity.
Role Information
This has got to be one of the most exciting opportunities in the UK software industry. It is a rare interim management opportunity to join a strong European executive management team to drive all UK sales, marketing and overall commercial activities, to deliver the significant growth which the market opportunity brings.
Essential Requirements
- Previous sales management experience within a business applications vendor
- Ideally experience in selling enterprise business applications
- Experience in managing software sales teams, instilling sound sales methodologies and major account development
- Commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial processes and business modelling
- Highly professional, comfortable at board level but equally able to roll your sleeves up
- The ability to manage, mentor and motivate the sales team to ensure revenue and profit targets are achieved-leading the sales call where appropriate
