They have been undertaking significant restructuring to establish improved service offerings to the business. They are already witnessing improved increases in project delivery and implementation.
Role Information
The role effectively manages the service delivery within the business analysis/solutions design area to meet specific business/commercial objectives and develop the business area to meet future business demands to help improve our client's competitive position. Activities are within defined business plans.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the team and develop/enhance capabilities and effectiveness
- Develop and oversee change management within the team, and create and roll out an appropriate culture to effect change.
- Direct and monitor team activities and assist senior management in planning activities
- Point contact for business plans, interpretation and costing
- Provide a key liaison between the PSO/Project Managers & Business Analysts, and Solution Designers, and importantly with the Architects team.
- Represent the team in the IT Business Solutions Group management meetings
- Make efficient use of skills and resources in the team
- Identify, report and escalate issues
- Provide work in progress transparency for senior management
- Introduce formalised methodology for addressing new development initiatives and put in place mechanisms for monitoring and reviewing its application.
- Provide local management and direction for the BA/Solutions Design team.
- Introduce a single point interface for the team.
- Provide a resource management mechanism for the team to make more effective use of the skills
