The Candidate
The successful candidate MUST have:
- Strong eye for detail to ensure performance data collected is authentic and demonstrates improvement in services, performance and quality assurance
- Knowledge of Elected Members requirements and responsibilities
- Min of five years experience of senior management/leadership
- Proven record of mobilising cross-functional support Project Management Skills Demonstrate experience in the following dimensions:
- Children and Young People's Partnership Trust
- Commissioning
- Budget planning and management
- Asset management
- Capital programme management
- Support and advice to Schools
- Safeguarding
- Management Information
The Role
Responsible to:
- Oversee and deliver on the priorities allocated within the Vision into Reality programme.
- Ensure that the Council and its partners meet the requirements of the new Comprehensive Area Assessment regime.
- Manage key partnerships including the schools forum with regards to commissioning and provider services.
- Assist the director develop the transition process that's already in motion but also to restructure the profile of this role.
- Develop, manage and deliver joint commissioning arrangements for children and young people's services.
- Lead on the development of the Schools capital programme.
- Lead on school admissions and home to school transport.
