The Role

The candidate will be responsible for:

• providing effective strategic leadership and efficient operational management of the charity's service activities
• ensuring all aspects of service delivery are managed efficiently and effectively in accordance with legislation and needs of service users
• playing a leading role in the development of social enterprises and employment initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining links and good relations with other professionals and external agencies
• Keeping up to date with service developments and trends in relation to care of People with Learning Disabilities

The Candidate

The successful candidate MUST have experience of:

• Diploma in Social Work, Management Studies or NVQ Level 4/5 5 Years Senior management Experience in a comparable organisation Experience of Direct Budget management at levels in excess of £10m pa Experience of reporting to a Board or Management Committee Direct experience of leading and managing staff and working with or leading a Senior Management Team Direct experience of working in and managing services for Adults and/or Children with a Learning Disability Demonstrated experience of Managing Change.
