Our client has a need for an Interim IT Project Manager to support them in assessing and delivering a new management information system.
This includes financial management, time recording, project tools, procurement etc. You will have delivered equivalent projects in the recent past (looking for directly relevant experience rather than transferable skills), recognising that our client is a 500 people business comparable to a professional services organisation, so this will not be an "Oracle" scale application.
The requirements of the role will be (project lead management) to:
- Complete a feasibility study to determine future MIS/Project Management system requirements of our client in conjunction with key internal stakeholders
- Assess potential market solutions to meet these requirements
- Impact assess the interface requirements of existing systems and processes
- Propose a costed complete solution with detailed implementation plan for approval
- Produce a detailed specification for a new system for procurement purposes
- Run effective procurement to identify preferred supplier for approval
- Implement systems and processes to plan and budget
- Work with system "owners" and users to ensure delivery
- Support training for new users to enable effective implementation
- Conduct post implementation review
