Impact Executives launches Swedish office

Stockholm, Sweden (March 28th 2011) – Impact Executives, the global interim manager provider, continues its growth strategy with the launch of a Swedish office.

The new business was established to fulfil growing demand for interim managers - highly experienced executives brought in on short-term contracts to provide hands-on support during periods of growth, change, or loss of key management. This growing demand reflects the increasing prevalence of business change in Sweden. The new business, launched as a subsidiary of Alumni, the leading executive search and leadership services organisation in Sweden, marries Impact Executives' unique international skills in interim management with Alumni's 20 years' executive search experience within Sweden.

The event was celebrated by a business breakfast attended by senior clients and interim managers. Guest speakers included the managing director of a major Swedish transport company, who gave an enthusiastic example of how he successfully used interim executives to help shape the future of his business.

The new business will be headed up by Karin Laurell with support from Anna Hjertstedt. Karin joined Alumni in 2000 and initiated and built the Life Sciences Practice. Today she is a partner within Alumni and Managing Director of Impact Executives, Sweden. Before joining Alumni, Karin was a management consultant at Accenture, specialising in change management. She has a Master of Science degree in International Business from the University of Uppsala.
